Agro Tourism is more than a journey to the farm — it is a journey towards economic empowerment, cultural preservation, and sustainable rural development. Around the world, the Agro Tourism industry has crossed the hundred-billion-dollar mark, transforming farms into destinations, farmers into hosts, and local produce into global brands.
Yet, in Pakistan, this industry remains a sleeping giant — rich with potential, ready to uplift rural communities, promote our agricultural heritage, and connect the world with our fields, orchards, and traditions.
The International Institute for Agro Tourism (IIAT) is being launched to bridge that gap — a pioneering platform to train, research, and develop Agro Tourism in Pakistan to international standards.
From farm-based experiences to value-added agri products, IIAT will empower farmers, entrepreneurs, and tourism professionals to tap into one of the fastest-growing industries worldwide.
